FMP Week 9

Week 9 was spent filming as much as we could. We started by filming the news reporters' audio in the early morning with Shakira, the shots we recorded that day were acceptable audio recordings but the green screen needed some work. We did not account for lighting when using the green screen so the lighting wasn’t completely even on the green screen and the green was reflecting off the laptop making it difficult to key the shot later on. Later in the day we would re shoot the bathroom shot as before I had set the camera to AV and let it automatically decide the best lighting choices. Richard showed me this was not the best way of doing a shot which needed to look the exact same so I took that on board and we reshot with manual lighting and me adjusting the shot as I saw fit. I definitely should have learnt this sooner and would have saved a lot of time. After filming some more in the bedroom we left to go to the city and film there, we shot inside the market and got in my opinion the one of the best shots of the whole film, it perfectly fits the shockers tone and as a opening shot for them I believe it shows exactly who they are and what impact they will have on the story.
