Week 5 was our first full production day. We filmed in both central Milton Keynes and the new bedroom set in college. In the centre we filmed some scenes of Spider-Man sitting off the edge of a building. This was a shot that meant a lot as it was our first hurdle to making Spider-Man look like he was high up in the sky without him being dangerously high. We filmed the scene by finding a set of stairs and having Igor sit on the edge and dropping a safe height when needed. I believe the building in the background being so high above him really sold the shot and gave the viewer a false sense of depth perception.

The second location we filmed at was the new bedroom at college. It was a major improvement to filming at Igor’s bedroom and gave me more freedom to choose the camera angles and lighting as we could also use the lighting panels in college. One of the issues with filming in this bedroom was that we wanted the room to look like Peter Parker's room so we stuck posters on the wall, every time we filmed in this room setup would take a little longer than expected as we had to find the perfect location for all the posters which slowed down setup but overall was still a better room. I believe if we were to do it again, I would have preferred to film all bedroom shots in one day instead of splitting them up. This would have reduced the setup time of the room significantly and meant we only have to had use the room for one or two days as it wasn’t always free.
